Hudson Valley Sustainable Fashion Week[end]

Day 1: Organic Runway IV

Friday, September 25 4-8pm

Day 2: Slow Fashion Fair

Saturday, September 26 11am-5pm

Join us for an inspirational weekend on the farm at Stone Ridge Orchard celebrating slow fashion makers of the Hudson Valley region. The weekend kicks off with our cornerstone event on Friday night: The Organic Runway, a showcase of sustainable fashion designer’s latest creations. Pick apples, sip local cider and get a prime spot to watch the show at sunset. Come back on Saturday for the inaugural Slow Fashion Fair: an all ages celebration of slow fashion with workshops, vendors, demos, clothing swaps, music and circular fashion fun! A big step toward building a circular community and raising awareness of textile waste, we hope you’ll join us to reconnect with the land, your closet, and our community on the farm this September.

Join us for the week[end]:

Stone Ridge Orchard

We are thrilled to announce a new venue for 2026 Hudson Valley Sustainable Fashion Week[end]:

Tucked away in the Rondout river valley between the Shawangunk and Catskill Mountains, Stone Ridge Orchard raises a wide variety of sustainably-grown gourmet fruits and vegetables. Many people believe that we grow the best pick-your-own apples in the Hudson Valley. Clustered around a majestic oak tree at the top of a hill are a small stand of apple trees. They're the oldest trees on the farm and all classic cultivars: Macintosh, Cortland, Golden Delicious, and Stayman.

Farm Manager Elizabeth Ryan of Breezy Hill Orchard has taken great care to give the trees the care they need to produce flavorful, high-quality fruit. Diversifying beyond the apple world, the farm grows sweet cherries, peaches, nectarines, plums, and Asian pears-fruits as well as small fruits like strawberries, blueberries, gooseberries, red, yellow, and black raspberries, arctic kiwis, and even pumpkins and melons to the menu, making Stone Ridge Orchard a veritable encyclopedia of culinary delight.
